What an incredible hideaway you have created. We are in love & will be back!
“I stayed in la petite chambre Matisse, intrigued by the idea of art, design and accommodation, not knowing quite what to expect. What I found was a unique experience of art and music and beauty and the feeling of a bygone era in a most contemporary way. The interpretation of history and art is exquisitely presented. The welcome and service was warm though not intrusive, and the attention to detail and the modern layouts including the luxury of apple TV music and movies, the glass and stainless steel bathroom with underfloor heating…I could easily get used to this beauty and space. Thankyou Rebecca and Jack for sharing and making this historic home and space with like minded people. Good Luck.”
Thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful sanctuary. Our entire ‘ Tasmanian Adventure’ was capped by our stay in your Ballroom. We hope we can come back for one more visit before we leave Australia next year. Katie & Garry, QLD.
Father and son travelling in Tasmania. Wonderful places, vineyards and golf! Lovely restaurants (pierre’s) and mainly kindness. The Ballroom at Hatherley Birrell was AMAZING! We are living in Belgium, at the opposite of the world but we will come back!
Thankyou for wonderful welcome with garden fruit and fascinating introduction about Robert Dowling, whose paintings we saw in the art gallery at Launceston, the Gorge and the town so charming and full of interst. Tasmania’s amazing! We will be back – and the house is beautiful. Many thanks.
Thankyou for such a wonderful stay! We enjoyed a very relaxing break in beautiful surrounds, and would love to return on our next visit to Launceston.
Beautiful place to stay, close to the city but secluded at the same time, great attention to detail with the ‘goodies’ and the breakfast tray is a very nice touch!! Fantastic, the only place to stay in Launie! Thanks and til next time.
We just wanted to let you know how wonderful it was to come and stay at your beautiful property – Teahouse. The layout and design of the rooms allowed for lots of natural light but also total privacy – it seemed like we were not in the middle of town. The breakfast provided was amazing. It was truly a wonderful experience to come and stay – we will most certainly be coming back.
This was a 10/10 and more! It was magical from the moment we walked in. We only live 5 minutes down the road & everytime I drive past now I will have the best memories. We will be back!
Thanks for a beautiful room with a view in Launceston. We will be back.
