What a great spot for a wonderful long weekend. We particularly liked the lovely restful gardens & the magnificent tub – just the way to end a busy day exploring the sights and tastes of Launceston. We’ll be back! Thanks for a very inspirational stay.
We were so lucky to come here after a disastrous start to our holiday. Secluded and private. Thanks for looking after us.
Excited to find Hatherley Birrell Collection when searching the web for Launceston sleepover – and not disappointed on arrival to find such a lovely house to share in an interesting part of this city. Thankyou and Good luck with this venture.
Thank you! We loved it.
A beautiful beginning to our honeymoon. I love coming home to Tassie. Your beautiful property absolutely showcases what Tassie does best. Stunning, quality, unique. Lots of love, Mr & Mrs Zarate
The ultimate art-infused weekend away…Dynamic Launceston couple Jack and Rebecca Birrell, an architect and graphic designer respectively, have breathed new life into the National Estate-registered High St guesthouse, boldy combining colonial and contemporary design.
Wonderful to see you both and enjoy this wonderful accommodation. Look forward to catching up in Melbourne.
“A sensual and captivating experience, living art, living in art, tasting art, seeing and feeling art…The expression of another’s dream shared with others is a way of connecting the beauty in you to the beauty in me…tasting the food cooked by the famous chef in the artful home of the beautiful couple, drinking the Devil’s wine…aaaah, A sigh of joy, thankyou.”
Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay in the Ballroom. It is a beautiful suite and the attention to detail was impeccable. Thank you for the tour. Breakfast was amazing!! Thanks again, we will be sure to return.
Driving around Tasmania has been full of beauty and surprises. La Petite Chambre Matisse has been one of them – and also unique. To enjoy its ambience, comfort and to be able to leave a little piece of us behind ‘in the colouring book’ makes this place memorable. PS exceptional breakfast – loved it!
